Position Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Crop Insurance Data Analyst to support our Crop Department. This role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational experience in crop insurance operations, data review, and policy servicing. You’ll assist with account support, reporting, and administrative processes while learning industry systems, rating procedures, and best practices within a collaborative team environment.

Work location

This is a full-time position working in our office located in Minot, ND.

Professional Responsibilities
  • Service and support existing crop insurance accounts
  • Analyze agricultural data and claims activity to identify trends and support risk assessment
  • Document policies, changes, and activities within the agency management system
  • Assist agents in marketing and selling new crop insurance policies
  • Quote both MPCI (Multi-Peril Crop Insurance) and Crop Hail policies
  • Process bills, policy changes, claims, renewals, and endorsements
  • Submit applications and documentation to insurance carriers
  • Coordinate and organize sales presentations, policy deliveries, and renewal meetings
  • Support underwriting and decision-making through accurate reporting and data insights

    Continue developing your expertise within the crop insurance industry
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in crop insurance, agriculture, insurance, or an administrative/analytical role
  • Interest in developing a career in crop insurance or agricultural services
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
