Plant Mill Manager

Our client is seeking a driven, hands‑on Plant / Mill Manager to lead a high‑volume food manufacturing and milling operation in Minot, ND. This is a key leadership role for a go‑getter who thrives in fast‑paced manufacturing environments, takes ownership, drives accountability, and delivers results.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong milling background
, proven operational leadership experience, and the ability to build high‑performing teams while maintaining exceptional standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Lead all day‑to‑day plant and milling operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Manage and develop a team of 6 direct reports across operations and production leadership
• Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement
• Oversee grain receiving, processing, milling, blending, sanitation, logistics, and outbound operations
• Utilize KPIs, Lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance
• Lead capital planning and operational strategy for long‑term plant growth and innovation
• Foster a culture of accountability, communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement

• Strong mill manufacturing experience is REQUIRED
• Proven leadership experience within food manufacturing, grain processing, or milling operations
• Ability to lead from the floor with a hands‑on management style
• Experience driving Lean initiatives and operational improvements
• Strong communication, coaching, and team development skills
• Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to lead in a fast‑paced production environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Milling Science, or related field preferred
