Travel Nurse RN – Emergency Department (Minot, ND)
TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department for a 13‑week assignment in Minot, North Dakota. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. The assignment requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour rotating shifts.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, triage, and implement care for patients using correct procedures and physician instructions.
- Perform minor medical operations and provide bedside care.
- Document medical histories, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
- Provide IV therapy and clean and bandage wounds.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
- Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC or equivalent.
- 2 years of RN experience, preferably in an Emergency Department.
- Ability to cope with a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment and to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
