Med/Surg in an acute care environment - Cerner experience required
- Deliver direct patient care to Med/Surg patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and elevate concerns per protocol
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses; manage IVs, drains, and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teammates, and family members; communicate changes promptly
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner) and participate in rounding and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure
- BLS certification required to start
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience
- Cerner electronic medical record experience required
- Ability to float and work a 4x12-hour schedule, including 2 weekends out of 4
- Education:
RN degree from an accredited program; licensure as required for practice
