Convenience Store Assistant Manager; Plaza

Summary

A Convenience Store Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, focusing on supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include training employees, handling cash, managing inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and acting as manager on duty, particularly during evening or weekend shifts.

• Experience:
  
  Previous retail, convenience store, or customer service experience, including merchandising and inventory.
• Leadership:
  Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train staff.
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays and 40+ hour weeks as needed.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum Class C Certification and willingness to become Class B certified in monthly maintenance and reporting, and inspections of sumps and pumps.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is typically indoors, however periodic trip, while walking, to the oil warehouse will subject the employee to cold or hot outside air. The employee can expect a normal level of expected office noise with this position. The position is highly regulated by the federal and state government and the employee should expect to adjust and conform to any new regulations that affect this position or the company.
