As a full‑time Assistant Store Manager
, you will lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager, motivating a team to achieve sales and growth goals, maintain customer experience, manage operations, and support talent development.

What You’ll be Doing

• Inspire the Customer Connection: Inspire associates with integrity and drive, fostering a culture of caring and camaraderie focused on customer relationships and operational excellence.
• Champion Talent Discovery: Seek and network with external talent, collaborate with the Store Manager to interview and hire individuals passionate about customer experience.
• Ace Retail Operations & Support Staffing Levels: Manage daily operations, inventory, pricing and shipping, and support staffing levels.
• Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: Drive sales, apply insights to improve performance.
• Be a Culture Builder: Promote diversity and inclusion, encourage a positive mindset, and support retention.
• Be the Store Manager’s Right Hand: Step into the Store Manager’s role when absent, ensuring compliance and training.

Essential Functions (may change as needed to meet business needs)

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of sales experience, preference for retail sales.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring and training.
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate with associates.
• Training and coaching skills for customer experience and operations.
• Independent judgment and discretion when partnering with Store Manager.
• Strong cognitive skills: problem solving, analytical, decision making, financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of retail practices.
• Flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs from floor to above shoulder height.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, repetitive lifting.
• Extensive time on sales floor.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, night, weekend, extended hours.
• Advanced understanding of retail practices and procedures.
• Experience as a team leader, motivating and communicating effectively.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, training teams.
