Role Description

This is a part‑time, on‑site Sales Associate role located in Minot, ND. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, actively engage in conversation, and provide personalized guidance. The role involves processing transactions accurately, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and keeping the sales floor clean and inviting. The Sales Associate will also support store goals by meeting individual and team sales targets, learning product lines, and participating in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of behaviors and practices associated with Zales.

• Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills, with a friendly, approachable manner and genuine interest in helping customers.
• Sales and retail experience, including engaging customers on the sales floor, recommending products, and working toward sales goals or KPIs.
• Effective communication and active listening skills, with the ability to explain product features and care instructions clearly and confidently.
• Comfort with basic point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, handling cash and card payments, and completing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a sense of style to support visual merchandising, product presentation, and maintaining organized displays.
• Reliability and flexibility to work a part‑time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the sales floor, and handle small products safely and carefully.
• Previous experience in jewelry, fashion, or accessories retail is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and complete product and sales training is essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
