* Greet all customers with a smile when entering and exiting the store
* Enhance the customer experience by engaging in conversation while providing personalized service and consistently meeting the goals of the digital receipt program
* Accurately scan every item customers are purchasing, ensuring all merchandise is properly rung through and paid for before the customer leaves the store
* Treat merchandise with care, and bag purchases carefully and efficiently
* Promote the Scheels Visa card and clearly explain all benefits
* End each transaction by saying "thank you" to every customer
* Process returns and exchanges for firearm purchases
* Complete firearm background checks
* Assist with Gun Room housekeeping
* Ensure all ATF federal laws and guidelines are followed
* Ability to execute technology-based processes for firearm and/or suppressor transactions
* All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

Must be 21 Years of Age The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and/or 1-3 months of cashiering experience

Physical Requirements /Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
