Overview

Account Sales Representative:
Professionally execute Pepsi Cola’s marketing strategies while ordering and maintaining proper service levels within assigned accounts. Focus on safely, effectively and efficiently maintaining the stock levels of the shelf, cooler, displays, back rooms and P.O.P. The Account Sales Representative should aggressively pursue incremental shelf, display and cooler space. The Account Sales Representative is responsible for working with all team members to minimize out of date and damaged product within assigned accounts.

Works as part of the “account team”, proactively communicating with other team members to recognize opportunities and resolve issues. Professionally sells Pepsi-Cola products and services to assigned retail customers according to company goals and customer needs. Executes marketing strategies to achieve monthly sales volume, profit, distribution, and merchandising goals within assigned accounts according to company plans. Responsible for capturing various pieces of sales information and translating this into an actionable plan in assigned accounts on a daily / weekly basis.

Maintains consistent communication with “account team” members to identify and eliminate execution and pricing issues. Responsible for developing business opportunities within assigned territories. This includes new and competitive account development, development of advertising, account specific promotional activity, shelf space, rack space and product placement. Work with the Sales Manager and Sales Supervisor to insure execution of all activity at store level.

Provide input into the development of company marketing, promotional, brand and package strategies. Primary focus is achieving sales volume and profitability within the retail channels of our business.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred but not required).
  • High School diploma.
  • High attention to detail and follow through.
  • Strong persuasive and diplomatic communication skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.

  • Must possess a valid state Driver’s License in good standings.
  • Repetitive lifting of 50 pounds from floor to waist, chest or shoulder height; pulling cart with load weighing up to 220 pounds.
