• Provide customer support by taking phone orders, addressing inquiries, tracking order status and shipments, and solving customer issues.
• Assess and recommend products while promoting additional sales of hard goods and gases to achieve target margins.
• Conduct product demonstrations for customers using customer insight to drive and guide the development of new offerings.
• Work closely with and provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Maintain customer records and files, including accurate account setup and pricing, as well as perform warehouse duties and move cylinders for customers as needed.
• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections as part of your role.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization continue growing.

• Hold High School Diploma or GED.
• Customer Service or Counter Sales experience required;
  Industrial setting preferred.
• Knowledge of welding equipment and supplies preferred.
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol‑related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from an accredited Truck Driving School.
• Valid class A or B CDL is preferred.
• Current Hazmat Endorsement on CDL strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Can read and write in English.
• 21 years or older.
