Basic Information

Location:

Based in Minot, ND or surrounding area. There will be regular travel to other Bartlett and trade partner locations in the US Northern Plains and Canadian Prairies.

Compensation: $70,000 / yr and up.

Hours:

This will be a full time day shift job but you may work late or on weekends as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform job tasks in compliance with Bartlett safety programs and procedures.
  • Work with producers to analyze current agronomic practices and knowledgeably provide recommendations for improvement that best align with their operation.
  • Document and upload agronomic data into certified third‑party quantification online platforms.
  • Report on sustainable outcomes to all levels of management and external customers, while providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Help with other program responsibilities as necessary.
Requirements To Be Successful In This Position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Crop Science or closely related field.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Achieve and maintain the General Certified Crop Advisor Certification.
  • Two to three years’ experience with a certified agronomic retailer.
  • Willingness to travel to facilities across the US Northern Plains and Canadian Prairies.
  • Knowledgeable of computer operations; able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skillset.
  • Capable of writing and orally presenting reports to all levels of management internally and external customers.
Physical Requirements
  • This job will require both office and field work.
  • Field work will require travel and engagement with producers at their operations and will involve all types of weather and temperature environments, along with exposure to noise and dust.
  • This job is not physically strenuous. You must be able to sit at a desk and be able to utilize computers and calculators.
