The Opportunity
As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you will use the latest architectural approaches and open‑source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you will work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability that can help automate processes today.
ResponsibilitiesContribute to solution development by identifying potential risks, creating automated, efficient, and effective systems for our clients, and helping to develop a user‑focused solution for ETL, data management, automation, clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure.
Qualifications (Required)- 5+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including writing custom transformations and interfaces
- Experience building efficient and scalable ETL pipelines
- Experience with data modeling principles and data quality concepts
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with metadata stores with pointers to unstructured content
- Experience with unstructured data stores
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Possession of excellent corporate communication skills
- AWS Data Engineer or Azure Data Engineer Certification

CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). This figure is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package and reflects various factors such as location, education, skills, and experience.
