Salary: $60,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This position is responsible for independently managing the company’s daily bookkeeping and accounting activities while maintaining accurate, timely, and well-organized financial records.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of Quick Books and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and daily accounting activities
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, payments, deposits, and vendor transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Monitor outstanding balances and cash flow
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Maintain complete documentation for financial transactions
- Support budgeting, audits, tax preparation, and year-end closing
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors, banks, accountants, and leadership
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
- Ability to manage bookkeeping responsibilities independently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work full-time from our Pembroke Pines office
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience with payroll, audits, tax preparation, or financial reporting
- Experience developing or improving bookkeeping procedures and internal controls
Compensation and Work Arrangement
- Salary: $60,000 per year
- Schedule: Full-time
- Location: Pembroke Pines, Florida
- Work arrangement: Fully in-office; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available
