A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan

B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services.

In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.

Quality Coordinator/RN (Full Time 40 hours a week)

Responsible for the implementation,management,and oversight ofthequalityimprovement programs for clinical focus areas of stroke, sepsis, and cardiovascular clinical data and reporting. Responsible for instruction, training and educationregardingthe assigned programs and tracking the measures,determiningdatavalidityand reporting the results in a format that can be reported to regulatory andaccreditationregistries.

Responsible forensuringknowledge of the continual readinessrequirementfor accreditation and regulatory surveys through data collection, rounding, and feedback to departments and staff.

Present data and provide education and feedback to patients,staffand leaders in the facilityregardingareas of expertise.

Quality Coordinator/RN Job Requirements:

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited educational institution required. MS in nursing ormaster’sdegree in related field from an accredited educational institution preferred.

Experience:

• Minimumof1yearsofexperienceinquality assurance in an acutecare setting.

• Minimum1-3yearsas a clinical nurse in medical surgical setting

• Experienced in theuse of coremeasuresabstraction,benchmarking, spreadsheet software,and databases.

Skills:

• Thorough understanding of Joint Commission standards, NPGs, state and federal standards,coremeasuresandvalue-basedstar ratings for clinical indicators.

• Knowledge of performance improvementmethodologiesandoutcomemanagement.

• Knowledge ofpeerreviewand clinical chart reviews.

• Knowledge of healthcare facility operations, functions, and staffing requirements.

• Strong computer skills and knowledge
  
  Microsoft Office products and Cerner (preferred).

License / Certification:

• Current and unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license.

• CPHQ preferred.
  
  CPHQ must be obtained within
  24 monthsof hire date.
