Day to Day:

Application Support Engineers to establish a dedicated tier 2 application support team, addressing a current gap in their IT infrastructure. This role will focus on proactively monitoring applications using APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools to prevent outages, providing advanced technical support and incident resolution, maintaining CI/CD systems, enhancing Dev-Ops-Sec observability, and assisting with legacy application deployments

Must Haves:

3+ years of experience as a Application Support Engineer
- Application Life Cycle Management- ALM Concepts, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Op Practices

Experience with Kubernetes (k8s)- troubleshooting containerized applications, knowledge of components (pods,services, deployments, and ingress controllers

Ability to read and analyze source code- c#, Javasript, Python

Plus:

Experience with Cloud Platforms (azure) and Containerization tech (kubernetes)

Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting

Ecommerce or highly transactional environment
