Head of Talent Attraction and Employee Experience - HRBPThe Quality Lab Coordinator ensures the accuracy, precision, and reliability of internal and external laboratory testing by establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of laboratory procedures and QA methodologies, be able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Must be bilingual (English / Spanish) B2-C1 advanced
- Proven work experience as a Quality Laboratory Coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards
- Experience with laboratory information systems, MS Office, and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
This role involves checking and monitoring laboratory procedures, equipment, staff competency, and regulatory compliance.
The duties and responsibilities of a Laboratory Quality Assurance Coordinator include:
- Developing, implementing, and managing quality laboratory policies and procedures
- Ensuring all laboratory procedures and tests comply with relevant regulations and standards
- Conducting and documenting internal audits and inspections regularly
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of laboratory data and reports
- Training and mentoring staff on quality procedures
- Monitoring the quality of testing and the competency of laboratory staff
- Investigating non-compliance issues and implementing corrective actions
- Assessing the effectiveness of laboratory equipment and making recommendations for improvements
- Identifying and addressing potential areas of improvement within laboratory operations and implementing new procedures as necessary
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant scientific and technological developments
- Reviewing and maintaining proper documentation of all quality activities
- Coordinating with laboratory staff to ensure consistent quality of procedures
