For 40 years, Advanced Refrigeration & Air has been a trusted leader in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. Headquartered in Orlando, our family-owned company operates five locations across Florida and serves grocery retailers, restaurants, and other businesses throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. We are seeking experienced Service Technicians specializing in commercial HVAC, supermarket refrigeration, and rack systems. If you have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, we invite you to join our Tampa team.
Responsibilities:- Accurately document maintenance and repair activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent service and address their needs.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems early and enhance equipment efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, display cases, and HVAC units.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as coil cleaning, filter replacement, and refrigerant level checks.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with precision.
- Ability to work on-call and rotating shifts.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
- Knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments.
- Proficient in using specialized diagnostic and repair tools.
- Strong experience with commercial refrigeration systems and troubleshooting.
