As a key part of the First Nations Relations Team, you will nurture relationships with partners, provincial agencies, and stakeholders. Your efforts will focus on capacity building, policy support, and co-developing innovative processes that align with the BCER's legal obligations. This role involves leading initiatives that promote respectful engagement and participation of First Nations in regulatory activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain trusting relationships across BCER branches
• Support the development of relationship strategies for First Nations
• Conduct research and analysis on sensitive regulatory issues
• Lead initiatives for business improvement and regulatory alignment
• Advise on complex options related to BCER’s role
Requirements:
• Experience in Indigenous relations or related fields
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of legal obligations and reconciliation frameworks
• Willingness to work across all BCER locations
Use your expertise to create meaningful connections and support reconciliation efforts throughout the BCER.
