Position Overview
Mishawaka, Indiana 100%- On-Site
Salary: $44,990-$54,995
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations for a growing business. This role will assist with accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll support, and other accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply customer payments and match checks to invoices
- Process cash receipts and maintain accurate accounting records
- Reconcile two business checking accounts on a monthly basis
- Enter and process vendor invoices
- Prepare and submit payments to vendors
- Assist with payroll processing and 401(k) administration
- Support inventory-related accounting and purchasing activities
- Maintain organized financial documentation and records
- Assist with additional accounting projects as needed
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently in a small business environment
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office
