We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in financial operations, reporting, and event-based accounting activities. This position partners closely with leadership to provide financial insight, support decision-making, and ensure accurate tracking of revenue, expenses, labor allocations, and event profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Track, analyze, and report on financial activity including revenue, expenses, cost allocations, trust funds, and event-related accounting.
- Maintain financial tracking schedules and prepare accounting entries for review and processing.
- Perform payroll analysis and allocate labor costs based on employee time reporting and departmental allocation requirements.
- Manage escrow account activity for events, including monitoring ticket sales, event expenses, and promoter settlements.
- Prepare detailed profit and loss analyses for individual shows and events to determine promoter settlement amounts.
- Coordinate and process promoter payments in accordance with settlement schedules.
- Partner with operational and executive leadership to translate business needs into accurate financial reporting and actionable accounting tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or related finance experience.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Event, entertainment, hospitality, venue, or project-based accounting experience.
- Experience managing escrow accounts, settlements, or trust fund accounting.
- Knowledge of ERP and accounting software systems.
