AMN Healthcare is recruiting a full‑time, board‑certified Hematology/Oncology physician to join Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana (Trinity Health). You will deliver full‑scope hematology/oncology care across the Mishawaka and Plymouth campuses while helping expand a collaborative, hospital‑based cancer service line. This role is designed for physicians who want to practice at the top of license, contribute to program development, and grow into leadership over time.
You will partner closely with Michiana Hematology Oncology and collaborate with Loyola University Health System colleagues, with infrastructure that supports consistent clinic flow and continuity of care.
- Provide full‑scope Hematology/Oncology services across Mishawaka and Plymouth campuses.
- Grow with a developing hospital‑based oncology service line, with potential junior leadership responsibilities.
- Clinic pace designed for efficiency: about 20 patients per full clinic day.
- Visit templates support strong care planning: 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for follow‑up visits.
- Infusion services on both campuses with established volume:
Mishawaka 18–20 patients per day and Plymouth 8–11 patients per day. - Shared call model: 7 days per month, with option to pick up additional call days.
- Call coverage support through Loyola University Health System collaboration and locum tenens resources.
- Guaranteed salary $550K–$610K for experienced physicians, plus incentives.
- Productivity incentive includes a work relative value unit (wRVU) bonus of $101 per wRVU above 6,100 for the Chair role, plus quality metrics
- Starting bonus and relocation assistance available, with no non‑compete agreements under Indiana law.
- Eligibility for academic affiliation as an affiliate professor with Loyola Medicine
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Full‑time (40 hours per week).
- Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome, especially those energized by hospital‑based program growth.
