- Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our community‑based practice in Mishawaka, Indiana
—just minutes from the University of Notre Dame. You will provide comprehensive surgical care including clinic, OR, inpatient consults, and shared call coverage. The schedule supports work‑life balance while meeting the needs of a very active general surgery service line.

Full time

• Provide full-spectrum general surgery care in accordance with training and privileging.
• Manage inpatient consults, admissions, and perioperative care; coordinate safe, efficient discharges and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
• Maintain an active ambulatory clinic with timely access for new and returning patients.
• Participate in shared call for general surgery including weekday and weekend rotation.
• Utilize DaVinci robotic technology and modern surgical facilities.
• Adhere to evidence‑based guidelines, surgical pathways, and documentation standards to support quality metrics and value‑based care.
• Engage in quality improvement, peer review, and morbidity and mortality committees.
• Utilize the hospital’s EMR (Epic) for documentation, order entry, and communication.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and credentialing requirements.

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in General Surgery.
• Passion for community‑based medicine and patient‑centered care.
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure and DEA registration.
