About the Position
Job Description
A PACE program in Mishawaka, Indiana is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with Geriatrics training to serve as Medical Director .
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, supervise providers, oversee quality programs, and ensure high-quality, person-centered care for frail seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise PCPs and APPs, and guide healthcare teams
Conduct physical exams, develop treatment plans, and manage participant care
Oversee Quality Assurance and clinical protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate participants/families
Participate in on-call rotation and team decision-making
Requirements
✅ Requirements
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Fellowship-trained in Geriatrics or Certificate of Added Qualifications (preferred)
Indiana medical license (or eligible)
BLS Certification and CDS/DEA registration
Experience with frail or elderly populations (1+ year)
Supervisory experience in healthcare
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
