Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty in Communication
The Department of Literature & Language at Bethel University (IN) is seeking a full-time tenure track faculty member in Communication capable of teaching both on-ground and online courses. A strong candidate would be equipped to teach a range of Communication courses such as Media & Society, Social Media, Interpersonal Communication, and Digital Media. Preferential consideration may be given to candidates who are also able to teach general education English courses or Foreign Language courses.
Additional responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) instructing a Practicum in Student Media (podcasting, broadcasting, news writing, etc.), student advising, attending department meetings, and serving on faculty-related committees.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, or Digital Media from an accredited college/university is preferred.
- Candidates with a Master's degree in Communication, or other fields of Communication related degrees will be considered.
- Applicants should hold a strong Christian faith, demonstrate the ability to integrate the Christian faith in coursework and maintain a personal and professional commitment to our mission and covenant lifestyle.
