Special Education Teacher: Elementary & Middle—Collaborative Impact

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary and middle school students with both push-in and pull-out services. There are two positions available for qualified professionals who are dedicated to fostering student success.

What we're seeking:

• Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility in Indiana)
• Experience delivering both push-in and pull-out instructional services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and appropriate documentation
• Passion for supporting students at the elementary and/or middle school levels

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction tailored to student IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure student needs are met
• Develop and maintain IEPs, track progress, and document outcomes
• Support positive classroom behavior and inclusive practices
• Liaise with families and school staff to promote ongoing partnership
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and trainings

This full-time position is located in the Mishawaka area and offers $40 per hour for your expertise and dedication. You'll become an integral part of a nurturing school community, with ample opportunity to enrich the academic and personal journeys of your students.
