Special Education Teacher, Elementary School

There are two positions available for qualified professionals who are dedicated to fostering student success.
What we're seeking:
- Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility in Indiana)
- Experience delivering both push-in and pull-out instructional services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and appropriate documentation
- Passion for supporting students at the elementary and/or middle school levels
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group instruction tailored to student IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure student needs are met
- Develop and maintain IEPs, track progress, and document outcomes
- Support positive classroom behavior and inclusive practices
- Liaise with families and school staff to promote ongoing partnership
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and trainings
This full-time position is located in the Mishawaka area and offers $40 per hour for your expertise and dedication. You'll become an integral part of a nurturing school community, with ample opportunity to enrich the academic and personal journeys of your students.
