Principle Duties and Responsibilities- Support and facilitate human resources processes across Indiana locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
- Administer the HRIS/HCM system, maintaining accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of employee data and transactions
- Develop, modify, and generate HR reports and analytics using UKG Business Intelligence/People Analytics, MS Access, Power BI, and Excel to support business decisions
- Oversee hourly attendance and disciplinary processes in a unionized environment, ensuring progressive discipline is administered in accordance with company policy and CBA guidelines
- Track, analyze, and report attendance trends on a daily and monthly basis; provide guidance to leadership regarding contract compliance and corrective action
- Coordinate and administer hourly leaves of absence and FMLA, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and collectively bargained provisions
- Manage hourly incentive programs in alignment with contractual obligations
- Serve as an HR point of contact for union-related matters, including contract interpretation, grievance support, documentation preparation, and participation in investigatory meetings as needed
- Partner with management and union representatives to ensure consistent application of the CBA and to promote positive labor relations
- Provide HR customer service support by responding to employee inquiries, facilitating badge generation, and assisting with employee self-service requests.
- Processes i9 Documentation.
- Assist with HR communications and employee notifications to ensure clear and consistent messaging
- Create and process departmental purchase orders and invoices in accordance with company procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Minimum of two (2+) years of human resources experience preferred
- Experience supporting unionized environments, including working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), grievance procedures, and labor relations practices
- Demonstrated experience partnering with leadership on employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and contract interpretation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Solid working knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems such as UKG, Ulti Pro, Kronos, or ADP preferred
- Sight: must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including regular use of adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Hearing: must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate

Location:
This position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and is often assigned to a specific shift or hours. The Employee must be able to perform job functions in an environment with varying difficult work conditions such as extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, and/or while exposed to constant/intermittent loud noises - Teamwork:
This position will work with others to ensure efficiency in the workplace - Listening
