The Strike Team Engineer II plays a critical role in keeping Tire Rack’s network and server infrastructure running smoothly. This position supports both daily operations and fast-moving project work, stepping in where expertise and execution are needed most. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled engineering team to deploy, maintain, and improve systems that power our business.
This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys problem-solving, working across platforms, and contributing to short-term, high-impact technical projects.
What You’ll Do- Design, implement, and manage network and information systems
- Set up, configure, and support Linux and Windows servers
- Monitor systems and resolve recurring or complex technical issues
- Perform quality assurance testing and identify system reliability risks
- Schedule, track, and support hardware maintenance activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guides
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Deliver status updates and progress reports to management and project leaders
- Support special projects and perform additional duties as needed
You bring both technical skill and a collaborative mindset to your work. You enjoy digging into problems, learning new systems, and supporting a team environment.
Required Qualifications- Experience working with IT systems in a professional environment
- Hands-on Linux and Windows system administration experience
- Experience with network and power capacity planning
- Understanding of network infrastructure and data cabling
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Standard Days: Monday – Friday
- Occasional weekends may be required based on project or business needs

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (additional hours may be required)
