Locum - Nurse Practitioner - Geriatric Medicine Mishawaka, IN

Full-time (however, will consider Part-time as well)

Duration of assignment:
Six (6) months to start

On Call coverage – one week on, and one week off.

Need Geriatric experience

EMR: currently Tru Chart but will be switching to Epic in March

For on-call during the week it is from approximately 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM the next day. On Saturday and Sunday, it is the entire day. There is no requirement to go anywhere when Nurse Practitioners take call. They only need to be available by phone. They may need to document what occurred from the call. Recommend having a pad a pen handy to make a note of what occurred if they are not in front of their computer at the time.

RN typically handles everything as they are also on call.

Submission Requirements

• Active IN License - REQUIRED.
• BLS, CDS, DEA - REQUIRED
• Board Certified by ANCC or AANP.
  
  - REQUIRED
• A minimum of one (1) year working with the frail or elderly population strongly preferred
