** JOB SUMMARY*
* + Responsible for the clerical duties related to scheduling, preparation of documentation and charging of surgical procedures where applicable. Responsible for efficient coordination and communication related to these tasks. Functions in dependently in multiple roles within the resource.
** JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES*

* Education:
** High School graduate level required.
** For SJPN:
** High school equivalent or 1 year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting program.

* Experience:
** 2 year's experience. Knowledge in medical terminology, basic anatomy and computer skills.
** For SJPN:
** Three to five years experience in a medical or physician office with experience in scheduling preferred.
