- Manage and maintain the company's quality management system and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards and customer quality requirements.
- Lead and oversee PPAP submissions, documentation, and approval processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to drive quality improvements and reduce defects.
- Review customer specifications and ensure quality standards are properly communicated and implemented.
- Develop and monitor quality metrics, reports, and performance indicators.
- Perform audits, inspections, and process evaluations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support customer and supplier quality initiatives as needed.
- Train and mentor quality personnel while fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Assist with inspection activities and quality investigations as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Mathematics, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor, Senior Quality Engineer, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of PPAP methodologies and requirements.
- Thorough understanding of ISO 9000 quality systems and compliance standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Keyence 3D measurement systems, CMM equipment, and/or portable inspection arms is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Experience with in metalworking, machining, fabrication, or related manufacturing environments.
- Metallurgy knowledge or experience working with metal products.
- Experience implementing quality improvements and process control initiatives.
- Familiarity with customer‑driven quality requirements and audits.
- Hands‑on leadership style.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Ability to effectively communicate with production, engineering, customers, and leadership teams.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality excellence.
