Work Schedule:
Estimated 40-50 hrs/wk, up to 12 hrs/day (hours may vary based on business volume). Store manager will assign hours; availability during company hours is required.

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Supervises: None
Summary: Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial vehicles and replacing automotive parts, either in-shop or at customer locations. Collaborates with management and service advisors to provide excellent service and customer education.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, adjust, and repair various vehicles including trucks, buses, RVs, SUVs, off-road, emergency vehicles, and trailers.
- Communicate with management and service writers regarding repairs and timelines.
- Troubleshoot and determine cost-effective solutions for equipment issues.
- Travel to repair locations as needed, including after-hours on a rotating basis.
- Operate equipment after repairs to verify issues are resolved.
- Maintain current knowledge of heavy equipment repair techniques.
- Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist with inventory and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
- Maintain tools and work area in good condition.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years’ experience in commercial automotive repair preferred.
- Knowledge of trailer maintenance helpful.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- ASE Service Manager certification preferred; TIA Commercial 200 level certification required.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Ongoing training as per company standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work environment may be hot or cold, outside or in a shop.
- Must wear PPE as required.
