Siloam Mission seeks an Overnight Emergency Shelter Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a team of seven staff members at our emergency shelter. This role prioritizes effective service delivery, mentorship, and trauma-informed support for marginalized populations. You’ll ensure staff training aligns with best practices within a supportive, equity-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day shelter operations for community members

• Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and facility protocols

• Conduct staff performance reviews and training sessions

• Address staff concerns and mediate conflicts timely

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in social services preferred

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with marginalized populations

• 2 years of leadership experience in a non-profit setting

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction

• Proven skills in team management and conflict resolution
