20/20 Collection Volunteers collect old used glasses that Canadians no longer want or need from their local community, being involved in initial contact, communication, pickup, and follow up with partnering donations locations.

20/20 Mission Collection Volunteers are responsible for:
- Searching for local eyewear and optometry clinics, as well as local centers of population and culture (eg. libraries, community centers, religious centers)
- Establishing initial contact with above said locations to initiate future collection
- Maintaining communication with partnering locations, following up with concerns or when accumulated glasses are ready for pickup
- Collecting glasses through one time pick ups or creation of donation boxes for long term placement
- Managing short term storage of glasses in a dry, clean, and safe environment
- Maintaining communication with 20/20 Mission collection coordinators about updates and changes to collection policy
- Delivering collected glasses to another location
- Learning how to sort, clean, and measure prescription of said glasses
