Principal Gifts Officer at Siloam

Be a catalyst for change as a Principal Gifts Officer with Siloam Mission, dedicated to supporting individuals facing homelessness and adversity in Manitoba. This role emphasizes building donor relationships to deepen their impact.

As the Principal Gifts Officer, you will report to the Senior Development Manager and play an integral role in the principal gifts program. Your responsibilities will include identifying and fostering relationships with high-capacity donors, crafting persuasive proposals, and managing stewardship activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and engage major gift prospects for Siloam Mission

• Prepare and present compelling proposals for donor support

• Manage relationships with donors through personalized outreach

• Develop donor engagement strategies to enhance giving journey

• Collaborate with teams to align fundraising strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in major gifts fundraising

• Proven success in securing major contributions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to build lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders
