The Life of a Wine Ambassador:
Maintain understanding of customer service, process, and administrative standards; adhere to Wine Boutique and company policies, procedures, and standardsProcess customer sales, provide guest service and tastings, set up for tour tastings in the Hospitality KitchenIdentify opportunities to sell wine, Wine Club, accessories, and toursTransition effectively between tasking, sales, and hospitality responsibilities as scheduledProvide boutique and hospitality support as directed – set up and tear down tour tastingsDevelop and maintain Mission Hill wine and merchandise knowledge to support exemplary retail experienceWhat We’re Looking For:
University DegreeWine education such as WSET Level II, or equivalent (can be completed during first 2 months of employment)Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospitality, sales or retail environmentMust have Serving It Right certification, as well as be of legal age to serve alcohol in BCMust be flexible as the hours of work will fluctuate with business volumeWorking days, evenings, and weekends requiredDesire to build a career in winePassionate and driven, with a desire to winSales experience in a competitive environment is an assetBonus Points:
