Sr. Accountant External Reporting

Location: Mission Viejo, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Senior External Reporting Accountant

This is a high-impact, highly visible role supporting consolidated financial reporting and SEC filings within a complex, multinational environment.

As a hybrid position, it offers flexibility (3 days onsite per week) while keeping you connected to leadership and cross-functional partners in a collaborative corporate environment.

• Base Salary: $110,000 – $120,000
• 15% annual bonus potential

• Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Support SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases, and related disclosures
• Own components of the global consolidation process, including preparation and posting of consolidating journal entries
• Review and eliminate intercompany balances and transactions
• Perform technical accounting research and prepare supporting documentation
• Support SOX compliance and disclosure controls
• Partner closely with FP&A, operational finance, and international teams
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Identify and drive process improvements across reporting cycles

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA strongly preferred
• 3+ years of public accounting, technical accounting, or SEC reporting experience
• Big 4 or national public accounting experience highly preferred
• Experience in a publicly traded or multinational environment
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
