This is a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track faculty position.

• Teach Health and Wellness and related courses to a diverse student population.
• Ensure adherence to program policies, course objectives, program outcomes and current simulation best practice and safety measures.

1. Must meet one of the following qualifications under (A) through (C):

A. Master's in Nursing

OR

B. Bachelor's in Nursing AND Master's in Health Education or Health Science

OR/AND

2. Commitment to equity and diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within an educational environment.

1. Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes coursework in nursing, education or administration.

2. Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing area to which he or she is assigned, which can be met by:

• (A) One (1) year's continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area.
• OR

• Prior full-time or full-time equivalent in teaching in a Registered Nurse Pre-licensure Program within the last five years.
• Clinical experience in Medical Surgical Nursing within the last two years.
• Clinical experience in a second specialty area such as Mental Health, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics.
