Job SummaryUnder immediate supervision, this entry-level technical clerical health position provides basic first aid and administers medications to students. They maintain the health office, ensuring it is clean and well-stocked, and they help manage student health records and documentation. In some cases, assist in specialized health procedures, such as blood glucose monitoring, suctioning, tube feeding, and catheterization. They maintain communication with parents, staff, and students regarding medical concerns and serve as an on-site resource for students with special medical needs, ensuring compliance with health screenings and mandated health protocols.
Requirements/ Qualifications
Possession of District-approved First Aid & CPR certifications. (Certification must be obtained through an in-person or blended course, online-only courses are not accepted) CPR and Basic First Aid Training Program | ASHI and MEDIC First Aid () CPR & First Aid | CPR & First Aid University Training Center | Irvine,CA () PALS, CPR and ACLS Training & Certification in Laguna Hills () Certificate must be attached to application to be considered for vacant position.
