Range 26. External candidates start at Steps A-C based on verified previous experience. Current, regular employee placed at the lowest step of new range which provides a raise of approx. 5%, within constraints of the salary schedule.

Under general supervision, this entry-level technical instructional assistant (IA) position provides instructional support and services to students with mild to moderate disabilities. The IA typically works in a classroom setting, supporting students in general education who are on a 504 or Individualized Education Program (IEP). The role may involve assisting with academic and behavioral support in various subjects and activities, including but not limited to math, English Language Arts (ELA), playground supervision, physical education (P.E.), and music.
