Shift: Day Shift
Duration: 8 weeks
Pay: $55.00/hour-$60.00/hour
Job Responsibilities- Provide specialized wound care treatment for adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including staging of pressure ulcers.
- Manage colostomy, ileostomy, and incontinence care.
- Utilize advanced wound care techniques, including wound vac therapy and various debridement methods.
- Document care using the Epic electronic medical record system.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year (Unit accepts first-time travelers)
- Certifications: BLS, WOCN (Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing)
- Wound assessment and management (pressure ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, arterial/venous ulcers)
- Colostomy and ileostomy care
- Catheter and incontinence program management
- Wound vac therapy and dressing changes
- Holiday Pay: New Year’s, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
- Flu Vaccine Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
