District Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Under general supervision, this journey-level technical health position is responsible for performing specialized health care procedures, administering medications, and providing emergency medical care for students. This position is integral in leading and training Health Office Aides and overseeing the health needs of students from preschool to adult education levels. The District Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) ensures that medical records are maintained, and compliance with health screenings and immunizations is met, while also assisting with training staff in basic health-related protocols.

This position operates independently but collaborates with health services staff, requiring both clinical expertise and clerical skills.

- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (In-Person or Blended only accepted) - Licensed Vocational Nurse Certificate (LVN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) License and Certificate must be attached to application to be considered for vacant position.
