About the JobJoin a Premier Cardiac Critical Care Team We are seeking an experienced ICU Nursing Supervisor to lead and support our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team. Position Snapshot:
As the Nursing Supervisor for the CICU, you will provide leadership and oversight to a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. This unit specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, cardiomyopathy requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart failure, post-MI care, and complex interventions such as IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA management, pacemakers, severe sepsis, and respiratory failure.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, you will oversee daily unit operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and support staff in achieving clinical excellence.

- Participate in clinical decision-making for complex cardiac cases
- Accurately document unit and patient care activities
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required)
- California RN License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS (AHA) certification (upon hire)
- 2+ years recent ICU or specialty area clinical experience
- Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- Previous formal leadership experience
