Mid - Senior Wildlife Biologist ​/ Project Manager - Orange County

We are seeking a dedicated Mid - Senior Wildlife Biologist / Project Manager to join our team in Orange County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing wildlife research projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders. You will conduct field surveys, analyze ecological data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support conservation efforts. A strong understanding of local wildlife species and their habitats is essential, along with the ability to develop and implement effective management strategies.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring that all activities align with organizational goals. You will mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment while also engaging with local communities and regulatory agencies. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will be representing the organization in meetings and public forums, advocating for wildlife conservation initiatives.

A Master's degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in wildlife management or research.
