** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with the maintenance of a secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activities and/or incidents, documenting findings according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to direct visitors as needed.

+ Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required to support security-related objectives.

+ Remain alert to environmental and/or behavioral changes that could indicate a need for intervention or assistance.

+ Participate in training and ongoing development to stay current with Allied Universal and healthcare-specific security-related procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.

+ Hospital-required vaccines are required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
