Software Engineer – Image Processing (C++ / GPU)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to define software quality goals and development practices, driving continuous improvement through high standards and effective methodologies.

• Maintain, support, and optimize the legacy C++ codebase to ensure operational excellence.
• Actively participate in the design and development of a next‑generation GPU‑centric architecture.
• Work with system, platform architect, and system engineer stakeholders to generate high‑performance, GPU‑centric, platform‑based, and scalable designs for complex signal/image processing.
• Co‑develop software with CT BU platforms to produce high‑quality ready‑to‑deploy product components.
• Collaborate with processing algorithm designers to improve algorithms and reduce computational burden.
• Provide technical solutions that meet requirements with a focus on end‑user quality, QMS/regulatory standards, performance, safety, and security.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with exposure to medical image formation theory.
• Experience in developing and maintaining complex C++ software systems.
• Some exposure to or experience with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA).
• Proficient in image/signal processing; experience with MATLAB and Python is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with CT global development teams in the US, India, and China.

• Requires travel up to 10%.
• Position based in Cleveland, OH; candidates must reside in or within commuting distance to Ohio.

• Pay range: $89,000 – $141,000 (Ohio). Base pay may vary based on experience, location, and equity.
• Annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long‑term incentives may be offered.
