About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing full-cycle accounting and supporting financial reporting.
This role is structured to support professional growth toward a Finance Manager position, offering increasing exposure to leadership, strategic financial management, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be mentored by senior leadership to prepare for expanded responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare month end journal entries and working papers
- Perform complex account reconciliations for both Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts, providing comparisons against prior year and budget
- Create and maintain continuity schedules for select general ledger accounts.
- Prepare reconciliation of intercompany accounts; summarize, prepare, and post journal entries for related party transactions.
- Leverage Power BI and other tools to design, build, and automate interactive financial dashboards and reports that provide clear, visual insights into KPIs and business performance
- Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support cash flow management and analysis.
- Coordinate and support external reviews
- Lead the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency
- CPA designation or in final stages of completion
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is an asset
