Under the direction of the Senior Director of Business Development and Operational Compliance, the Business Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for generating, managing, and converting membership and program leads through proactive grassroots marketing and community outreach efforts. This role supports the development and execution of a comprehensive internal and external business development strategy designed to drive market-driven growth and revenue expansion across assigned areas of the Association.
The Coordinator works collaboratively with key members of the Association’s management team to implement outreach initiatives, track and manage leads, and support membership engagement and retention strategies that strengthen the Association’s presence and impact within the community.
- BA/BS in Management, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two-years of experience in customer service and/or sales preferred.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Extensive knowledge of membership practices and quality program development.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs. Prior knowledge of SGA Pulse and Hub Spot software is a plus.
- Strong networking skills with ability to build relationships with staff, members and community leaders in an effort to develop membership growth.
- Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
