Overview
Global Fingerprints, the child sponsorship and church planting ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), is seeking a part‑time Staff Writer to help tell the stories of how God is transforming lives around the world. This role takes raw material—interviews, reports, field updates, videos, and internal notes—and turns it into clear, compelling written content for newsletters, blogs, social media, and other communication platforms.
The Staff Writer is responsible for producing high-quality written content that tells the story of Global Fingerprints. This role is primarily taking raw content, from newsletters, videos, interviews, or other sources, and turning them into compelling stories for various platforms.

Head Writer/Managing Editor
Time Commitment:
Part-time

Hours:
5–10 hours per month (flexible based on project assignments).
- Content Creation:
Draft copy for blog posts, e-newsletters, or social media as assigned by the head writer. - Storytelling:
Interview staff or partners (as directed) to write stories of impact that connect sponsors to the mission. - Alignment:
Ensure all writing adheres to the established Global Fingerprints Style Guide, tone, and voice. - Collaboration:
Work within to track assignments, submit drafts for review, and incorporate feedback from the Head Writer and/or the Communications Manager or Director of Communications - Revision:
Timely implementation of edits to ensure all work is ready for publication on the due date.

Ability to write clear, concise, and emotionally resonant prose. - Collaborative Spirit: A willingness to receive constructive feedback
- Technical Comfort:
Willingness to use Microsoft Teams and for remote collaboration. - Mission Alignment: A passion for the work of Global Fingerprints and the ability to tailor messaging for our specific audiences.
