Graphic Design Lab Assistant (Work Study) (Spring 2026) Overview

Graphic Design Lab Assistant manages the Graphic Design Print Lab and provides office and graphic design support to the program coordinator and/or dean as needed. The Graphic Design Lab Assistant reports to the Graphic Design Department Chair. This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.

Graphic Design Lab Assistant (Work Study) (Spring 2026)

Academic Year:

• Manage the Graphic Design Print Lab.
• Provide clerical and office assistance to the program coordinator and/or dean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Possess good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clean and maintain the machines in the Graphic Design Mac Lab.
• Experience with printers and printing/troubleshooting.
• Experience with Photo and Photo Editing.
• Experience with Mac platforms.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

• Current UIW sophomore, junior, or senior students.
• Must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program.
• Must be working towards the completion of a BFA in Graphic Design.
