The Account Representative is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Mission, KS. This role is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, responding to inquiries, and ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. Day‑to‑day tasks include handling shipment requests and updates, tracking deliveries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal operations and logistics teams. The Account Representative will identify opportunities to expand services, support sales initiatives, and maintain accurate records of customer activities and communications.
The role also involves providing product and service information, assisting with training customers on tools or processes, and supporting continuous improvement in account performance.
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build, maintain, and grow customer relationships.
- Customer service and communication skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide clear, professional updates.
- Sales and negotiation abilities to identify opportunities, present solutions, and support revenue growth.
- Experience providing training and guidance to customers or team members on systems, processes, or service offerings.
- Ability to work on‑site in Mission, KS, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
- Proficiency with business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems) and comfort learning transportation or logistics platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to reliability and follow‑through.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or account support roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
